When it comes to a used excavator, its technical condition is more important than its year of manufacture. Therefore, carefully inspect the undercarriage (rollers, idlers, track chains and sprockets), the play in the pins and bushings of the boom and stick, and the operation of the hydraulic cylinders. The operating hours, maintenance history, and any auxiliary lines for a demolition hammer or tiltrotator also determine the range of applications for which you can use the machine.
